Pokkisham is a period film based on a classic love story between a Hindu boy Lenin working in Kolkata and a Muslim girl Katheera in Nagore, directed by three time National Award inner Cheran.The story revolves around two hearts in love and legacy of memories left thereupon and these are picturised as treasure.The film is set in 70 s and the story is told in the flashback mode with some soul stirring melodies by Sabesh Murali. Telugu actor Aryan Rajesh plays an important role in the film. Vijaykumar, Ilavarasu and a host of newcomers appear in the movie.
