Srinath, an assistant to late Jeeva, turns director with ‘Muthirai’. The film is produced by Vision Jeeva Studios, the production house run by Anees Jeeva. The director has surprised many by the choice of Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director, as all Jeeva-films have had Harris Jeyaraj as the music director. Saravanan and Ponvannan play the politicians’ roles to perfection.  Rakhi Sawant, the hottest item girl in India, has peformed a number for the film.
